Finally, a place for odds 'n ends.

Men are like shoes. Some are sneakers: comfortable, good for a brisk jog and those down days when you just don't feel like dressing up. Others are loafers: more comfortable than sneakers and without the laces. Still others are heels, sharp, no-nonsense stilettos: dangerous and hard to walk in, but they make you feel really sexy. But the best kind are the wedges: always comfortable, always perfect. You can wear them anywhere and with anything—dress them up, dress them down, they still look and feel good. Especially with the ankle-strap.
Sometimes a woman wants an ankle-strap.
So if men are shoes, women must be feet. That would explain it: feet are incredibly sensitive and picky. The shoe has to fit just right or there's nothing but grief and limping.

- You need to own up to your funk once in a while. I'm not going to take the rap for you forever.
This presupposes we know what a wedge is, and I don't think you mean a door stopper.
- A Wedge is a heeled shoe that that doesn't have a separation between the Heel and the toe. It's just one big .. "wedge." They're more supportive for the feet than a normal heel, but can be just as damaging at the right heights if worn long enough, just like a heel.

Indeed. "Hay dood nice mohawk" was the conversation starter of the day as i helped freshman move-in. Ah well, just something random and unique I'd thought; it's a faux hawk by the way, not like a real mo hawk. I look like an injun.
Cubed what you think of the Arizona governor turning a state of emergency to fix the border control problem even though she has turned down numerous counter measures to the issue, such as photo id for election.

Okay, here's what we do about the border problem. There are two ways.
*the expensive way: build a fence like the ones you see around prisons [10 ft tall with barbed wire in between the first fence and the second] all the way down the border.
*the fun [yet super expensive] way: Build Flying droids capable of handling a flexilbe mission. They run off of an inexpendable power source like converted Gamma radiation and maybe hydrogen, for the combustiblility. Then you hook them all remotely to a matrix of servers which monitors their movements and gives them instructions to do under certain situations. You have them patrol the border 24 hours a day. Then you lay down a pressure sensitive cable accross the border. When a person steps on one of them [lay down like fifteen in a section] a droid unit will automatically be dispatched to the area. It will ask for retenal ID and if you are not on the staff which the matrix has information on you are taken into custody. [this one is my favorite; I like expensive robotic projects and stuff. It would also make the US the world technology leader]

- Actually Japan would be the current world technology leader, at least in constructive technology. I don't know if you've been looking around the Internet but I have found some movies of Japanese robot demonstrations. I have one on my PC now that was very amazing, it's of several robots dancing in sync with one another holding Geisha fans. Very smooth.

Naturally, I gravitate toward this idea. I've been trying to form a slave army of robot freshmen for sometime now, but it just won't take on campus. However, if I say the robot slaves are for border security, I might have a better chance of getting what I want.
